I trade the TPT 50K because the payout structure fits how I scalp. Once the $2,000 buffer is built, profits above it can be withdrawn without waiting for a fixed payout window.
The PRO drawdown sees open profit, so I am not letting a clean winner turn into a full round trip.

The eval uses EOD trailing drawdown. You may take as long as needed, but the subscription renews monthly until you pass or cancel. Passing automatically stops the eval subscription.
You must trade at least five days and keep your largest profitable day below 50% of total net profit.
On a 50K PRO account, you can withdraw profits above the $52,000 buffer from day one. TPT's published withdrawal rules do not list a fixed payout window or a per-request cap above the buffer.
Money inside the buffer can only be withdrawn when the account is terminated, and the percentage depends on how long the account was traded.
The drawdown changes after you pass. A trade that was comfortable under EOD drawdown can be much tighter when open profit moves the PRO trail.
Eligible traders can be moved to PRO+, a live account with a 90/10 split, EOD drawdown, and no payout buffer. The move is controlled by TPT, not selected by the trader at checkout.
I use 50K as the baseline because it gives a clean comparison between the Test target, buffer, and PRO drawdown. I would choose a larger size only when the strategy actually needs more drawdown or contract capacity.

The 50K is the sweet spot for how I trade. It gives me enough drawdown and contract room for my Nasdaq setups without paying for account size I do not need. Using the same size at every firm also makes the rules and payout structures easier to compare.
